1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the PDFGen AI service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
PDFGen AI provides an API and web dashboard for generating PDF documents from HTML templates, with optional AI-powered template generation and data mapping. The Service includes free and paid subscription tiers with defined usage limits.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to generate illegal, harmful, or fraudulent content
- Attempt to bypass rate limits or usage restrictions
- Share API keys with unauthorized third parties
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Use the Service to send spam or malicious content
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service infrastructure
5. API Usage & Rate Limits
Each subscription plan has defined monthly usage limits for PDF generation and AI calls. Exceeding these limits will result in requests being rejected until the next billing cycle. Per-minute burst limits also apply to protect service stability.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all content (HTML templates, data, generated PDFs) you create through the Service. PDFGen AI retains ownership of the Service, its code, documentation, and branding. AI-generated templates are provided as-is and you may use them freely.
7. Payment & Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly through Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. PDFGen AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days, except as required by law.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
